Second Look — Chrome extension 0.1.3

1. Extract this ZIP into a permanent folder on your computer.
2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome 116 or later.
3. Turn on Developer mode in the upper-right corner.
4. Click Load unpacked and choose the extracted second-look folder (the one containing manifest.json).
5. Pin Second Look using Chrome's Extensions menu, then open any normal website and click its icon.
6. Open Connection settings, enter the backend access token supplied by your administrator, and save.
Your comparison endpoint is already configured: https://secondlook.hiremindpro.com/api/compare
7. Add the original prompt and both responses, then click Compare responses.

Page selection needs Chrome's permission separately from your backend token.
After switching tabs or navigating to another site, click Second Look's toolbar
icon on that website before choosing Select on page. Clicking the icon keeps
the side panel open. Chrome settings and the Chrome Web Store cannot be selected.

Stay signed in to websites containing protected media. If an allowed media host
returns HTTP 401 or 403, Chrome retries once using your existing session for that
host. The extension does not read cookies or send them to the comparison backend.
If a link has expired or the player uses other protection, refresh and reselect
the media, or download the original and attach the file.

Your access token lasts for the current browser session. Ask your administrator for a token;
never enter an OpenAI API key in the extension. The provider key stays on the backend.
Comparing sends the selected prompt, text, and media to your configured backend and its AI provider.
This download is installed manually, and does not receive automatic Chrome Web Store updates.
For an update, extract the new download into the same extension folder and click Reload on
its card at chrome://extensions.
